Strong response at the launch of QingJian's executive condomnium, Waterbay

- 200 units were sold on the first day
- First phase for second-time home buyers were fully taken up

19 October 2012, Friday – Waterbay, Punggol’s latest residential executive condominium (EC), saw over 200 units snapped up when bookings opened today for eligible buyers.

This 383-unit value-oriented, attractively priced development appeals to couples and families while still providing family-friendly amenities and luxury living. Choice units ranged from $560,000 for a two-bedroom unit, $680,000 for a three-bedroom unit, $824,000 for a four-bedroom unit and $1.04 million for a five-bedroom unit were available for selection. Waterbay, located along Punggol Central / Edgefield Plains which is just 7 minutes’ walk to Punggol MRT station, Punggol bus interchange and future Waterway Point, appeals to many homebuyers as majority of our buyers live around the area.

The strategic location and affordability of this EC saw a strong demand from second-time buyers. In line with HDB’s new measure where 30% of the project will be allocated to second-time buyers, these units were fully taken up. Interested second-time buyers will be able to make their bookings on 19 November 2012, one month from the public launch.

The three-bedroom and four-bedroom dual-key units were popular with the buyers. Similarly, the penthouse units were well-received as selected units offer double volume space in the living and dining area. In addition, all units offer generous interior space and ample window, thoughtfully designed to encourage natural cross-ventilation and lighting. Most of the units are designed with a North-South orientation, mitigating heat from the afternoon sun.

Strong sales at the 504 unit at River Parc Residence, Qingjian’s previous EC launch in the nearby Punggol locale, which is now fully sold, indicate favourable demand by homebuyers in this increasing popular district.
